Registering With the TSSAA on Arbiter
Once you register for the MTFOA and pay your dues through PayPal, you will then need to register with the TSSAA by following the steps below:

2. Select Football 2019-2020 from the list of Current Registrations and click Register
(fig. 1).

3.  Click through the registration steps.
- The background consent will require you to scroll to the bottom of the page to confirm acknowledgment (fig. 2).
- On the step labeled Association, select MTFOA under the football subheading.

4.  A $70 registration payment is required using a major credit or debit card.
Once a successful payment is made, you will see a confirmation page - PRINT THIS PAGE FOR YOUR RECORDS.  You will also receive a confirmation email with the same information from [email protected]  The NFHS rule packet will come via mail in a few weeks as the season approaches.

5. To complete your registration with TSSAA and be eligible for game assignments, ALL officials MUST pass a Qualifying Exam.  This exam is an online exam and you will be permitted two attempts to pass the exam.  Passing score is 70 and above.  This exam will also qualify an official to be eligible to work a district, regional, or state tournament, providing all other requirements are met.  This will be the only exam required and will be required every year of registration.  The link to the test site is  After successful completion, a confirmation email will be sent from NFHS with your score.

Important Note: Do not create a new account if you have a new email address. If you need to make any changes in your personal information (including a change in your email address), simply log in to your ArbiterSports account, click on "Profile", make changes, and click "SAVE". 

6.  You can revisit your Arbiter dashboard to check on the status of your 2017 TSSAA registration by clicking the Eligibility tab at the top (fig. 3).
