    The 2018 Blue Cross Bowl (5A) championship game between Knoxville Central and Henry Co. was delayed from Saturday night to Sunday afternoon due to lightning in the area.  Unfortunately, Referee Walter Overton, pictured left,  was not able to officiate the Sunday contest due to his job responsibilities with the Tennessee Titans.  Congratulations to Walter and the entire 2018 State Crew for your selection.

2019 Registration Now Open

Registration for the 2019 football season is now open.  The sign-up process for new and returning officials is the same and is a two-part process.  Click 2019 Registration from the MTFOA Members drop-down menu and you will find the steps laid out with full instructions.

Please remember, this is sign-up process for the MTFOA only.  Registration with the TSSAA begins in June and all officals must register with the state and pass a background check prior to being assigned any games.

The deadline for registration is February 28, 2019.

The MTFOA services secondary school programs from middle school through the varsity high school level, encompassing the Middle Tennessee areas of Davidson, Sumner, Williamson, Wilson, Cheatham, and Robertson Counties.
The MTFOA welcomes new and experienced officials into the association to join as reserve officials.  MTFOA's reserve officials recieve training that is second to none in both a classroom and on-field setting.  Click here for full details on how to get started.
